1) Mahomes shredding this defense as Dak did. Eagles really did not play much in the way of good QBS this year to use as a barometer
The Eagles did, however, play 90% of that game without Maddox. He was a hurricane force before he went out.

Something to perhaps take note of.

I have the same calm and resolve as 2017.

I think I am a little more at ease this time then 5 years ago. There was more at stake cause it we were still trying to get that first win, and only the third time we made it in. Not to mention it was basically David/Goliath with Foles/Brady.

Now it is two evenly matched QB's on two high powered offenses. Our second chance in 5 years to win again. Eagles hold the advantage overall be it
a slight advantage to many.

No one out there is fearing the Eagles even after they slaughtered the Giants and Niners. Thats what pisses me of as a fan.

quality of competition has been a knock on the Eagles all year. Even if they beat KC, they'll come up with something to cheapen it.

I think the nerves are different when you know that it's absolutely a game you can win, vs. the David/Goliath thing. Even though the Giants beat Tom Brady twice, there was an air of "Brady is simply going to be Brady against us." And he was! But the offense played perhaps the most perfect game in Super Bowl history.

Agreed - having already won one, takes away some angst

Not a knock on Hurts, but Mahomes is already a top 10, probably top 5, QB in our lifetime with a chance to become the all-time best. Eagles have advantages elsewhere as you referenced, but I don't see QB as even. However, we can hope that Eagles D negates that.

Be nice if we went untested throughout the playoffs too.

Perhaps the most important injury update for Super Bowl Sunday.

Andy Reid said Patrick Mahomes, who admits isn’t 100%, can do just about everything in the playbook. Reid referenced a fast practice on Monday and seemed happy with how Mahomes is moving.

Chiefs WR Kadarius Toney (ankle/hamstring) was upgraded to a full participant in practice today. But CB L'Jarius Sneed was limited with a knee injury.
