Such a frustrating game.

It highlights what I've consistently said about this team vs hyper athletic teams. They can win vs the lower level hyper athletic teams while getting occasionally beaten but they will lose to the upper echelon athletic teams.

This is what hurts them getting out of the 2nd round. Rivers' poor coaching seals the deal. Waited too long to play Thybulle, didn't play him enough and he insists on Tucker, Harrell and Niang vs these kinda teams.

To be honest they’ll never be a great defensive team with Maxey playing a key role. Same when Redick was a key player.

Tyrese is just an absolute abysmal defensive player. He gets blown by at will. Nightmares of Seth Curry vs Atlanta

Celtics were missing Horford, Smart and Brown left after 17 minutes. You can't lose that game to Griffin hitting 5 3s, Hauser hitting 4, White, Smart's backup, scores 19.

What the fuck.

Rivers waits to play Thybulle, insists on Harrell, again, keeps running Niang out there who can't hit 3s vs athletic defenders.

Ugly.

Fire Glenn.

I love Maxey but in my heart I think you can’t do Harden and Maxey again next year. Morey wants Harden, so we don’t have a choice but having to relegate such a good offensive player to the bench because of how bad him and Harden are on defense is a huge problem.

Last nights game shows you just how far off they are from a championship caliber team.
