I know one is Minny losing, but who else?

2 of the 4 things for clinching have happened.

I started a GDT thread for the scoreboard watching

Either Carolina beats the Saints or 49ers beat the Texans
Thanks so much.

Never thought they would be this close to the playoffs, or any more than 7 wins.

The adjustments they make for the second half are damn good. Just wish they could clen up the first quarter.

At this point I am all in for Hurts next year. I would be happy with him and Smith getting the playoff experience.

What can I say? Enjoy the ride!

I believe I called 10 wins at the start of the season. I put money on the Eagles winning 9, 10 or 11 games, $20 bucks each....I have locked up the 9 wins for $160...if they win next week, it is $200!

Yep Hurts has earned another year as the QB. Hopefully he will keep improving for 2022. The Eagles can use 2 of the first round picks
to help with the defense (CB, DE, DT). The 3rd will be traded forward to get another 1st rounder in the 2023 in case a new QB is needed.
I know Howie is probably going to do this.

Considering the circumstances, that was probably the best game I’ve seen Hurts play. That was great.

Considering he stayed cool under pressure nearly dying going back to the locker room, agree with those circumstances.

Still left some meat on the bone I felt from a passing perspective, but the kid has a tremendous head on his shoulders and a will to win when down (rarely did we see that with games Wentz trailed from '18-'20).He needs to get quicker with the second and third read to become an elite guy, but he's got the skillset and the mentality. I don't see a QB in that draft class next year worthy of giving up on Hurts as "the guy" right now. Need more impact players on defense and, hate to say it, a Metcalf/Jefferson ball hawk WR.

Lost in all of this "is Hurts the guy"- got to give the kid time.

Yep he has clearly earned another year as the starting QB. Maybe in the off season they trade Minshew to the Steelers for a 2nd round pick.

I dont think it was his best, but certainly very good. He does really need to work on his balls like the one to Watkins...he threw it a yard or 2 too short...and then the one deep one to Smith was too deep...those are big plays that are there for the taking. But he made some awesome throws and did it when it mattered. He is one of those guys that i see getting better and better with age and experience.

He has the same issues as the team....inconsistent throughout the game. Start slow end fast or vice versa. One thing the team is lacking is that complete game. But the fact that they are still winning says a lot...meaning they are close and once they do get it really going, watch out.
