10th & 30th pick of the draft. I expect them to trade down for at least one of them to get some midround picks as they traded some away

Maybe they trade the #30 pick. I would expect they keep the first pick and take advantage of what should be an opportunity to draft a future All-Pro defensive lineman.

Hurts is going to get paid.
Sign CJGJ
Who replaces Lane Johnson should he leave? Jurgens will replace Kelce.
The D line will have a major overhaul.
Sanders is out most likely.

Got to go Edge rushers with #10, but if Johnson leaves then what?

I'm wondering if any quality QBs will still be available at 10 for some QB hungry team in the mid teens. If Howie could wrangle their 2024 1st and a 2nd day pick I wouldn't mind trading down from #10.

Sign Hurts and then roll up your sleeves, Howie. This is a tough assignment.

A fan's perspective (mine) is more geared to needs than best player available, especially as you go down the draft board. I don't know how much stock can be placed in the player rankings on mock draft sites.

On defense, my wish list is CJGJ and Hargrave. Then draft a CB and a DT in round one. There may be a run on CBs between 9 and 20 so there may be an opportunity to trade back from 10 and still land a possible starter. DT options at the end of day 1 may be there.

I don't know if Jurgens can replace Seumalo if Kelce returns. If he leaves, there is a hole at RG. I hadn't considered Johnson retiring and I don't want to.

I would rather go safety in round 2 and let Epps go unless you they can't get CJGJ signed. If you could sign them both, then draft an Edge rusher in round 2.

Probable cap casualties: one of the Safeties (hopefully Epps), Bradberry, Seumalo, Suh, Joseph, Cox, White, Quinn, and Sanders.

Needs: CB, DT, S, DE, RG, RB.

Offense should again be very good next year

1) Hopefully Lane & Kelce are back so that they only need to replace Isaac
2) Gainwell will be the main RB - but they will need to draft someone or bring in a mid-level vet
3) Need to upgrade from Quez

Defense is where they need a lot. Problem is with Gannon - they will still have very little shot to win a SB if they somehow went that far again. Good QBs will tear up this D even worse next year

1) Davis/Dean - remain questionable draft picks (which is a big concern). Need both to take big steps forward next year
2) I am ok with bringing back Brandon & CGJ - the rest can go
3) Draft and any available $$$ for free agency needs to be focused on the D

Steichen to Indy is a done deal.

Please take Gannon with you as AHC/DC.

Brian Johnson will be named Eagles' OC.

i trust howie. hes got work to do especially with the D line. No "starters" left except Sweat. Then you got Davis and 3/4 stringers.

I read somewhere that Davis' play evaluations were good. Let's hope Gannon had to play Suh and Joseph because of veteran commitments they made.
