Eagles seem to be looking at cornerbacks, and especially at cornerbacks would could be more likely to be available between, say, #12 and #20. ... I guess if (1) someone is offering a second-rounder to trade spots in the first round and (2) the Eagles like the OL and DL available in the second and third rounds, they could go that trade route and get an extra high pick. .... To me, though, if someone like Myles Murphy falls to them at #10, I think they have to think hard about keeping that pick.

I'm trading down with some QB hungry team to 14/15 trying to collect a 2024 1st and a 2nd day 2023 pick. There should be a quality CB there, maybe a DL, but possibly Bijan, who I must admit intrigues me to be paired with Hurts. They really need defensive picks, but man, score 40 a game and worry about D another day.

Frustrating, but to me it doesn't sting as it would have if the Eagles lost 5 years ago.

Why is it that the 49ers get a compensatory pick for losing Demeco Ryans but the Eagles get nothing for losing Steichen and Gannon?

Todays' news:

Eagles have given permission for Slay to seek a trade...

BG is back on a one year deal...

Jake Elliot has taken a restructured contract saving about 2 million dollars for the Eagles.

Resisted the urge to make a joke only to find out that it was race based.
