Shouldn't underestimate, though, that impact this will have on the early part of season. There will be a learning curve with everyone. I assume they'll also be bringing in a new QBs coach from outside; wouldn't want Johnson handling both

i dont know, i dont think you can easily transition from losing both coordinators.

on offense, i think you elevate someone currently on the staff, especially someone Hurts is comfortable with (Johnson).

On d, i think you bring someone in from the outside that is not affiliated with Vic Fangio. You're going to have a lot of new guys so should be an easier transition.

Jerod Mayo was not elevated by NE to the D coordinator position was he? If he can be had, that's a no brainer.

Looks like it is Brian Johnson as the new OC, unless there's some surprise. Howie says they will have a lot of compensation picks next year simply because of the sheer number of FAs. No hints on a new DC, but in-house options will be considered.
