Much better.
Need Harper to get healthy so we can shop him at the deadline.

You joke - but after seeing the other game, Weston Wilson looks like a stud. Don't need that bum Harper.......Christopher wrote: ↑Sat Feb 25, 2023 9:29 pmMuch better.

OT - the Red Sox/Braves game ended in a tie when the ump called an automatic strike on the batter with the bases loaded/3-2 count for a pitch clock violation
If that happens in the regular season - will cause a firestorm

And if they've been calling it all game and DON'T call it then, it will also create a firestorm.
I mean, this is baseball's collective fault -- players and management -- for letting it drag to the point where somewhat draconian action was needed. So there's blame all around.
But we need commonsense, too. And I don't know quite how to regulate that. For example, I'd like to see the clock loosened a little when there are runners on base in the eighth and ninth innings of close games. But surely folks would find something to nitpick there.
Has anyone timed the pitches & getting into the batter's box for the full Harper vs. Suarez at-bat? To me, that at-bat was perfect baseball. Obviously, I loved the outcome, but beyond that the pacing off the at-bat seemed just right for the magnitude. It didn't drag out, even with the # of pitches, but I wouldn't have wanted to see it artificially sped up, either.
