I was wondering how Nola was gonna shorten the time he takes between pitches. He used to walk down the mound to the infield grass, catch the return and walk back up the mound massaging the ball.

Now? He's staying up near the rubber for the return. He is taking most of the 15 seconds, getting down to 2-3 most pitches.

Nola falls victim to Schwarber losing the ball in the midday sun for a triple, then another misplay in deep CF near the wall. Quick 2-0 deficit.

Bohm Bomb.

3-2.

Kingery with a timely 2-out single to LF.

4-2.

Happy to see Kingery have some success. He didn't try to do too much with the pitch and served it into the OF for an RBI.
