I know everyone here is hopefull we see the Nick Castellanos closer the 2021 version than 2022 version. Phillies announcers have been saying he looks good and that he's more comfortable this year. Even several commentators on MLB channel are saying he's not going to be as bad as he was last year, but I've been watching the games. I know it's just spring training, but he looks exactly the same as last year. He's still chasing pitches, still striking out and when he makes contact, it's weak ground balls, mostly to 3B. I haven't seen him make hard contact at all. Is anyone else worried?

Not going to worry about Castellanos yet, but if he has a poor April, I think you could see some lineup or even platoon changes, even before Harper gets back.

Today's good signs:
-- Kimbrel keeps looking solid. My thought with him: Every quality inning he gives us during the season saves wear & tear on Dominguez/Soto/Alvarado. That's worth something. If Kimbrel can sustain into the playoffs, that's just gravy, but I don't expect it.

-- Couple hits for Stott, who needed that. He's a guy I'm actually more worried about than Castellanos. If he doesn't show progress this year....

-- Jake Cave has just about locked up a spot, I think. Will be really interesting to see if/how they try to incorporate both Cave & Hall during the first half of the season
