Well, whether we like it or not (LOL), it looks like Harper will be returning to the lineup as DH around May 5.
Bad news for Cave's PT, although I think Cave will keep his roster spot and we'll bid adieu to Kody Clemens

Jeff Passan
@JeffPassan
Only 159 days after Tommy John surgery, two-time MVP Bryce Harper has been cleared to play by the Philadelphia Phillies, sources tell ESPN. A remarkable recovery, shattering expectations he’d return in July. He's expected to be in the lineup starting at designated hitter Tuesday.

Man, it looks like most of us were very very wrong on Eflin.

Yep - Eflin had two straight years of injury issues, but with the way Walker has looked - yikes

Congrats to Zach on winning the battle of Philly legends by beating Vinny V today

That was the going rate, though.
Looking at the money they got and their current numbers/status, who would you rather have?

-- Eflin
-- Walker
-- Taillon
-- Colon (!!)
-- Thor
-- DeGrom
-- Verlander
-- Kluber
-- Bassitt
-- Eovaldi

Other than Eflin and maybe Eovaldi, it's been a disaster!
There was literally not a move the Phillies could have made.

Yeah, this might be short-lived.
As Winkelman was saying, they had to bring up Hoffman or lose him. So they'll take a look. But he doesn't look like anything special.

I was more bummed by the speculation that they'll DFA Vasquez to activate Suarez. I think he's been pretty serviceable.
