UPDATE, and it's the elbow, sigh:

Prior to today’s game, the Phillies placed LHP José Alvarado on the 15-day IL (retroactive to 5/8) with left elbow inflammation. RHP Andrew Bellatti was recalled from his rehab assignment with Clearwater (A) and reinstated from the 15-day IL (right triceps tendinitis).

1. Suddenly Strahm HAS to be in the bullpen.

2. They really need Dominguez to be more consistent

3. The guy who's going to get the biggest opportunity to pitch high-leverage innings is Soto; he can make Alvarado's absence survivable.

One place where the Phillies have an interesting amount of depth now is center field.

Muzziotti probably ends up in left field post-Schwarber, but he can certainly play CF

Beyond that you have Marsh and Pache on the MLB roster and Johan Rojas, a plus fielder who probably going to be ready for the majors sometime in early 2024.

If Marsh continues to look good, Rojas could end up being the most important trade piece in the system, especially as they rebuild the rotation this winter.

No Harper in lineup tonight.
No reason yet.

It's all up to you now, Kody.

We get to see Ellis & Schwarber back to back - going to be Utley/Howard-esque
