GOOD NEWS: The 2024 class is currently led by a trio of college prospects, with North Carolina power/speed star outfielder Vance Honeycutt checking in at the No. 1 spot, followed by Louisiana State righthander Thatcher Hurd and Tennessee righthander Chase Burns.

No Mickey Moniak for us when we have the #1 overall pick in the summer of 2024 (assuming we are lucky enough with the draft lottery)

Thatcher Hurd and Chase Burns sound like members of the Harvard rowing team

Yeah, don't tell that banning the shift doesn't affect offense and batting averages.

So far so good for the rules changes in my opinion. It'd be nice if the clock would change behavior over the next few seasons so they could do away with it. Baseball should not have a clock.

Wow. 4 games in and we're finally seeing the back end of the bullpen.
