Atlanta taking Bijon is such a loser organization pick. He will toil away in obscurity there.

S Brian Branch is guy who's really interesting if he's around close to 30

Was a total win win for Birds. No conflict on whether to take him, and they got arguably the best talent in the draft.

Yep - that is who I have my eye on

However, Nolan Smith is still dropping. Supposedly was someone in the mix at 10

Some context here: Howie Roseman had an understanding of the trades made at Nos. 3 and 6 before the draft, so he wasn’t frantically calling teams to move up for Carter, more to monitor how the next picks would unfold before he could enact a swap he had pre-planned with the Bears.

Some folks think Eagles gave up too much, LOL
The way I see it is that it was a small price to help the Bears save face.
No, the Bears weren't drafting Carter, and Howie knew that.
But the Bears put up just enough of a dinky threat that they MIGHT that Howie went through with the swap for 100% assurance.

With 21 picks in, we may be getting closer to the #Eagles considering a trade up from No. 30 with OLB Nolan Smith and a few others still available.

Smith, Porter, Branch, Torrance, Murphy available with 5 picks to go. One of those should be there for us.

I hope the young man gets his head together. He's had a rough ride after some questionable decisionmaking. He looks like he understands the opportunity given him. The middle of the Eagles' defense is a national championship winner.

The Eagles got the #1 player on every draft board with the #10 and a 2024 4th.

Now they really will call him Roseman the Great.
