Realistically hoping Painter had a spot was a good idea.

But we lost SP depth when we let Thor and Gibson go. They weren’t great for sure, but we can’t continue to start Strahm and Falter.

We end up with a lot of relievers being exposed having to pitch more innings.

Also Hoskins injury was devastating considering Castellanos is totally washed
