I'm not gonna draw a direct parallel but if you look at Stott's start to his career, it really does look like an Utley-esque beginning.

Look at the 1st 130 at bats Stotts vs Utley, then the 1st full season starts for both.

Harrison can't box that ball like that.

That's a play a good 3B must make.

I mean, he's a 35-year-old utilityman who was mostly know for his bat. He's not going to be a Sosa.

Hopefully Sosa is back soon and we can see Sosa 3B, Bohm 1B, and more of Harrison in LF

In the Mets-Dodgers game, Scherzer was ejected for having a foreign substance in his glove.

But Mets lead 2-1 thanks to HR off Thor.

He's such a red-ass prick.

He survived being caught with sticky hands, the umps had him change gloves then he wanted to argue with the crew chief and HPU in the next inning and he wouldn't stop, he just would not shut up so he tossed him.

Earned and deserved.

I'm sorry, but that's a disappointing zero-strikeout outing by Alvarado.

Yes. :)

It was a Dibble-esque 18-of-26 batters whiffed headed into today.

Now it's a mere Charlton-esque 18-of-29.

For all the other mistakes, Dombrowski & Co. earn a lot of good will for the Marsh trade. It's looking like it has a CHANCE to be an all-timer. Angels really didn't give him a fair shake at developing, and I'm stunned no other teams jumped on that, given dearth of guys who can play CF.

With nothing in the system, we may have been saddled with many more years of Herrera/Quinn/Moniak level nightmare there.
