Zack Wheeler felt back tightness during his most recent outing in Chicago but he's good to go and will make his next start Sunday.

Edmundo Sosa (back) is feeling better today and is available.

ICYMI Cristopher Sanchez definitely getting Saturday's start for the Phillies.

In the absolutely best interest to send all our karma and reverse jinxes Sanchez's way. We sorely need a guy who can step in and make some non-disaster fill-in starts this season. I'm not sure who else it might come from, outside a trade.

Painter is still only playing catch as he ramps up very slowly. Wouldn't expect to see him in the majors, in a best-case scenario, before early August.

The fact that Cave is on this team speaks volumes about their player development in the minor league system The guy is a joke
