ESPN Sources with @Ramonashelburne: An MRI revealed Sixers star Joel Embiid suffered a sprained right knee and will miss Game 4 vs. Brooklyn on Saturday. There’s optimism he could be ready to return as soon as early next week.

I've not seen a team target a player for abuse like the Nets have targeted Embiid since how Detroit used to target Jordan. The Pistons mantra was to get hits on Jordan every chance they got to wear him down over time.

I have to admit, I was thinking they should sit Embiid up 3-0 and force the Nets to play a different way and if that doesn't work they can easily close them out at home in Game 5. There's no reason to continue to expose Embiid to these attacks and have it affect the Sixers vs Boston.

Embiid isn't the only star to miss a game in these playoffs, Giannis, Morant and Leonard missed a game, Leonard will miss 2 with a knee sprain.

Team had virtually no chance to beat Boston with a healthy Embiid, so not going to get too upset. Sadly, even if the Nets wind up winning 4 straight, gives Glenn an excuse to survive another year. Hopefully they come back today or win game 5 at home, so we can just get our usual 2nd round exit

Man, I am seriously hoping Harden opts out after this season and leaves for Houston. I don't care what havoc it causes with the cap. Trade Harris, also. I love Shake but he can go so Springer can play a lot.
