Jays are loaded with dangerous hitters, but we might miss Vladimir Guerrero Jr., who is day to day with a wrist at this point.

Phillies are facing teams who can rake up and down the lineup and they are not holding up their end.

Maybe continuing Sunday's lineup and sticking with a set order will get guys to settle in and do their jobs.

Phillies are going to skip Falter's start in Colorado (thanks to the off days, for that!) and when a 5th starter is needed against next week, it's likely to be Plassmeyer or Nelson.

Some encouraging news

Alex Carr
@AlexCarrMLB

The Phillies’ 2022 draft class as a whole is off to some kind of start. Orion Kerkering and Caleb Ricketts’ promotions are just the tip of the iceberg.

Justin Crawford is hitting .315 with lots of loud (albeit groundball) contact, Gabriel Rincones is sporting an .880 OPS…

Alex Carr
@AlexCarrMLB

Alex McFarlane is slinging 100 mile-per-hour fastballs alongside a 2.89 ERA… the list goes on.

Plus, we’ve hardly seen the start of promising guys like Emaarion Boyd and Bryan Rincon.

It was a mysterious class at the time — but boy has it been a promising beginning to 2023.

and don't forget the two Taiwanese players: 20-year-old RHP Wen Hui Pan at Clearwater & 20-year-old Jersey Shore infielder Hao-Yu Lee.

I'm suspect Lee finishes the season at Reading. Pan probably has the talent to get there soon, too, but they probably want to limit his innings.

Not farfetched that they both make their MLB debuts in second half of 2024

Bohm has really done very little since the first few weeks of the season

The vast improvement may be a myth

Well, the aforementioned Hao-Yu Lee can probably handle 2B or 3B, so ....
