I understand the Sixers are screwed on the payroll either way, but I can't fathom how it would be good to bring back Harden at 4/210 (which is what it will take if/when another team offers him 4 years)

I do think though if they let go of Harden they need a point guard. Their offense was pretty atrocious in the half court before Harden. Someone that can make the game easier. We can kill Harden but he created a lot of easy shots for Joel.

Maxey is best served as a combo guard
They've needed a pure PG for quite some time. They've certainly needed one since TJ left and they have never given Joel a high end PG. Harden had to change his game.

I'd blow up everything outside of Embiid, Maxey, Reed & Springer.

Saw a fresh tweet about how the NBA's no-reseeding bracket really screwed the 76ers in the playoffs, lol.

If Philly had pulled out Game 6 against the Celtics, I still think it would have been an extreme long shot against Miami.

Does it really matter if we came up short against them in the 2nd round vs the ECF? Same result, but likely Doc keeps a job with a bigger emphasis to keep Harden. NO thanks.

Pompey is back to his old tricks.

The narrative of Harden back to Houston is in full swing. Apparently, head coach candidates were asked how they'd feel, how they'd work with Harden.

There's some collusion that's gone on.

The Celtics used a lot of energy to beat the 76ers in 7 games. The Heat did not get pressed too hard vs the Knicks. Brunson kept them close but that wasn't a physically demanding series. The Celtics used up a tremendous amount of energy and the Heat are as athletic, they are physically stronger.
