Happy for him.
If the Phillies can't win the World Series this year, Rays are far and away my second preference.

Segura now down to a .478 OPS

Unrelated - going to be depressing when the Phils get swept by the 10-41 As in June

Bummed for Segura. I really didn't expect him to fall this far this quickly.

Moniak's numbers are weird as hell.

1.373 OPS
34% strikeout rate

Obviously he's not going to hit .419 in the majors. But he can play in this league a few years if he can hit .250 with consistent power.

Corey Seidman
@CSeidmanNBCS

Catcher Rafael Marchan, out all season with a hamate fracture, could begin a rehab assignment Sunday.

Darick Hall, out since April 5 with a thumb sprain, could start his rehab assignment early next week.

I wish that Kody was a RH so that they would DFA Harrison to activate Hall

They should just do Kingery for Harrison

Hall is probably spending most of the rest of the season in Triple-A when healthy. He needs at-bats.

Hope Phillies are ready tonight.
Braves have watched that Hoskins bat spike 1000 times and are champing at the bit to destroy us.

Speaking of Hoskins, any thoughts on my comment in passing yesterday?
I think they might need to consider bringing him back.
I'd try to move Schwarber this winter (eating a ton of money). But that leaves another hole. First base is not looking good right now.
Plus then you could use LF as your spot to play around with young guys and see if they develop

C Realmuto
1B Hoskins
2B Stott
SS Turner
3B Bohm
LF Muzziotti? Pache? Kingery?
CF Marsh
RF Harper
DH Castellanos
