Good, in a weird way. We'll keep Thomson from improperly wedging Dominguez into high-leverage situations. Dominguez just can't keep from putting runners on base.

Time to find out of Soto can be that guy. He's not Alvarado or Kimbrel, but he needs to step up and handle some bigger moments.

They also need a #5 starter so they can start finding out where Strahm fits as a late-game lefty. I think he can have an impact there.

Dude is throwing mostly sliders.

Maybe keep your hands back and stay inside the baseball rather than throwing the bat head at the ball to hit a HR?

I managed to miss the entire game.

A win is a win, and we have to keep piling them up.
I'll take it.

They manage to find a way.

They aren't always a work of art, but...

Vasquez has about a 1.0 WAR, ahead of Nola, Alvarado & Strahm. ... He's been an really important pitcher in the first half.

Braves are fantastic at taking care of business.

Not really worried about Atlanta or even Miami.
What I'd like to do is pass San Francisco and then put some distance between us and them.

THEN we can worry about catching either Miami or the NL West second-place team.
