Thanks Bigs - Happy Father's Day to you as well (as to the rest of the forum)

Maybe Zach can be Bunning-esque today

Happy Father's Day, all!

I'll take a win any way we can get it.
If we finish the road trip 6-1, that gives us some decent buffer headed into the homestand with the Mets & Braves, with which I could live with 3-3.

TUESDAY: Ranger Suarez vs. Spencer Strider
WEDNESDAY: Aaron Nola vs. AJ Smith-Shawver (3rd career start)
THURSDAY: Taijuan Walker vs. Jared Shuster

FRIDAY: Cristopher Sanchez vs. Kodai Senga
SATURDAY: Zach Wheeler vs. Carlos Carrasco
SUNDAY: Ranger Suarez vs. Max Scherzer

Nola & Wheeler get arguably the two easiest matchups of the week. They must both win, or else the homestand could go sideways, given the other matchups

Kingery can't play 3B or 1B.

Harrison's in RF today, yes, but there's no regular PT at corner outfield. So Kingery would just sit and we'd see more Sosa starts.

Kingery's curse is that he's 2B only, and he's starting to hit again just as Stott is establishing himself at 2B for the long term.
Maybe the hope is that if Kingery stays at LHV and doesn't get exposed (again) in the majors, he can be traded for something useful at the deadline (with the Phillies eating the already-sunk cost)
