Wow,total disinterest in here. Team is really becoming irrelevant.

Tired of people (not on this board) saying, "The statistics show that Wheeler has been very good this year."

There are so many improved teams in the NL this year, that it's hard to see the path to the playoffs, to be honest. Last year we benefited from a very bad National League in the second half. We ducked the Dodgers and got play a decimated Braves team whose superstar was disinterested.

And this offense just puts people to sleep.

1-4 homestand vs. Braves/Mets = noncontender.

I'd rather jump over to the other board and discuss Embiid trades, lol

Priority has to be moving one of the corner OF, trade Nola for whatever, move some of the relievers and retool.

The team is too slow, doesn’t really grind at bats, and needs to be reconfigured.

They won't sell at the deadline.
But yes I think they'll move Schwarber this winter.
They'll probably need to re-sign Hopkins because else they've lost far too much power.
They'll be a little weak from the left-hand side, but that's the least of their worries.

Will probably trade prospects for pitching this offseason, but they better get the question of trading the "right ones" correct.

For me the biggest question is whether Harper can be an everyday right fielder in 2024.
If the answer is no, all the equations change.
