It's not my money - I'd be fine with it
I just don't see them willing to do it

Mets would be thrilled to get Scherzer's salary off the books and go after Ohtani

We'll let's see HOW desperate they are.
For the "privilege" to pay Scherzer an ungodly sum next year, I'll take Pham and/or Robertson, too
Also, from a practical standpoint, a single year of Scherzer in 2024 might be just what we need as a bridge to let the kids develop and still contend
Scherzer (final year)
Wheeler (final year)
Walker
Suarez
Painter/Abel
Solves the biggest offseason problem

We all know that Robertson would go back to sucking if he came here again

Pham would be interesting though. Harper at 1B, Schwarber at DH, Pham/Pache in LF

This team just sucks with RISP

It is beyond time to sit Harper. Right now he is an automatic out.

Sit Harper for who?
You have to keep playing him and hope that he starts hitting better - benching him is not happening, nor should it.

Then move him down in the order. He is killing this team.FolesMVP09 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 30, 2023 12:16 am Sit Harper for who?
