EDIT: Looks more like he's actually a corner OF. Probably wouldn't have made it to round 3 if he could play SS with such good pop

Iowa 1B/DH/OF Keaton Anthony signed an undrafted free agent deal with the Philadelphia Phillies for $125,000.
Pretty nice chunk of change. He's already 22. Good power and nearly .500 OBP in college. If his bat is for real, he should rise quickly and could be an interesting utility piece at some point.
Apparently he was investigated by the FBI this year regarding a situation with campus gambling, which might have scared teams off drafting him.
Maybe the Phillies know something different, or they're just, ahem, gambling themselves with $125K in house money
