Really excited about Swift

Tim McManus
@Tim_McManus

Eagles observations from Day 1 of camp:

D'Andre Swift was deployed in a variety of ways, from lining up outside to motioning into the slot out of the backfield. He was primarily a pass catcher today.

Anybody hear how Jordan Davis is doing? I keep hearing good things about Noland Smith, Jalen Carter and Nakobe Dean.

Davis is in much better condition and he's moved into a more usual rotation rather than specializing in 5-man run stuffing fronts.

Other than Davis and Carter hype, there hasn't been much to talk about.

Tired of seeing social media posts about how everyone is so "locked in" and player X is having an awesome camp.

Also. Might be my unpopular opinion, but I don't get the hype for the kelly green. Ok nice, but ...

Does Trey Sermon have shot at any playing time? Hope he gets a chance in preseason to make some plays. Wonder what he could do with the 1's?

Penny
Swift
Gainwell
Scott

Baring injury - it would come down to him & Scott for the 4th spot - no way they keep 5. Since they play the Giants twice, Sermon will probably be the odd man out. I am sure if no one signed him he'd be on the practice squad.
