My point was only about the length of a hand injury not the relative quality of either player. I get what you're saying.

It takes months of at bats to get your timing and trust back after a hand injury like that. It's not 3ven pain anymore, it's trusting your hand.

I would recommend more patience. It even took Harper a decent amount of time to get back into form.

Yeah I hear ya. I like Hall. I think he's a decent cheap replacement for Hoskins if he does well.

I also get the fact that this team has a legit shot to go all the way again and they got to do what they got to do. If it means dropping Hall for better selection so be it.

Oh, I'm not hanging my hat on Hall, don't get me wrong. Lol. If they could have Harper at 1B, DH Schwarber and trade for Soto in LF, bye bye Hall. I'm just saying he'll take time to get his shit together. But they need another bat. They need another LHer in the pen. I like Sanchez, I hope he continues to establish himself as legit 5th starter.
