Bohm at 1B, Harper at DH today

Starting to get very suspicious about the Phillies' internal thoughts on the viability of Harper at 1B ... which of course would have an effect on their deadline strategy

Sanchez has some ability, but without high end velocity, he's gotta be disciplined.and in the lower part of the strike zone he's had trouble with flat pitches catching too much of the plate, especially to the RHers.

Phillies' hitters can not go up their trying to hit HRs like Schwarber, Turner and Castellanos did in the 1st.

Castellanos. Boom.

Mistake pitch. That's the kind of pitch to turn on. Hanging sliders should get pounded.

Amazing baserunming and coaching

Marsh on the move, being waved home on the throw to 2B was head's up.

3-3.

The more Sosa plays, the worse he gets

WTF kinda at bat was that, Bryce?

He never took the bat off his shoulder in getting to a full count strike 3 looking.

He overswings on every single swing.

He didn't do that last year.

The league will certainly catch up to Sanchez, but the kid is showing something for the moment.

And we still have zero depth, so I'd like to see them acquire someone who could be a swing starter, at the very least.
