Everyone wants to be a fucking hero swinging for the fences like they have to tie it up, themselves. So many overswings, so much chasing pitcher's pitches with inappropriate swings for location.

No discipline. Ridiculous approach.

Only Stott has smart at bats.
I feel like this has been a consistent theme with this organization

I think it's safe to say the Phillies have their 1B for the foreseeable future. Harper has really been tested. Now we just need to see how he scoops low throws.

It is nice that they actually managed to score 3 runs, but again 1 for 7 with RISP

Rinse/repeat

I'd agree prior to Kevin Long arriving.

His Nats' hitters were lethal with a great approach. Stott has totally bought into Long's approach, Turner should know better since he had Long in DC. The rest it's on them, they are stubborn, they are undisciplined and they still buy into that launch angle shit. When they score a few runs, they're more willing to go gap to gap.

Bohm is pulling off outer half pitches trying to hit a HR. Just take that ball to RCF. I don't understand. I don't understand why they abandon staying inside those outer half pitches.

Despite 4 runs - just another garbage game by the offense.

Worried that Kimbrel is due to blow one if they are leading in the bottom of the 9th
