I agree with this take, to an extent.

Much is being made of Bryce Harper’s superb play as a first-time first baseman, but there’s a reason the worst athletes play first base.
That’s because first base is easy.
Harper’s an elite, elite athlete.
It would be more remarkable if he wasn’t superb at first base

MON: Kremer (10-4, 4.80) vs. Sanchez
TUE: Gibson (9-6, 4.76) vs. Walker
WED: Bradish (6-5, 3.05) vs. Suarez

Orioles & Phillies have almost the exact same team OPS, but Orioles have scored 42 more runs

Team ERA: Phillies (4.06), Orioles (4.19)

Nonintuitively, Orioles are .251 with RSIP, while Phillies are .256

Orioles' bullpen has been much stronger than Phillies, which is impressive given the quality of the Phillies' relief.

THAT lineup when your #5 starter (who is basically a #6) against the team with the best record in the American League ... is a joke.
Thomson giving the game away.

Going to be an ugly sweep

No shot that they do squat against Gibson - we all know how ex Phils kill them

Thompson really waived the white flag with that lineup...

Is this data that I look at faulty? The RISP stats aren't even close

Also - their closer is almost unhittable

Yeah, I'm going with your numbers.
I got bad misinformation from the internet. I blame Q-Anon and Co.

Orioles closer won't matter.

27-2 loss tonight. Rojas steals home twice. Harrison gives up 10 while getting final 6 outs.

Seeya tomorrow.
