Lorenzen a nicer debut than Max Scherzer

Rough 1st inning for Max Scherzer in his Texas Rangers debut:
3 hits
3 runs
2 walks
2 strikeouts
38 pitches.
Chicago White Sox 3, Rangers coming to bat.

Feels pretty good, especially after last night. Let's hope Lorenzen keeps it going, and that the offense starts to pick things up a bit.

Should have won last night, but honestly should have lost Game 2.

So a pretty good series overall. The Phillies should finish ahead of Miami. But they must also remain ahead of all but one of Milwaukee, Arizona, Chicago and San Diego

10-game homestand now vs Royals, National and Twins. Anything less than 7-3 is big letdown

Overall, 20 of the next 24 at at home.

Have to make hay in August.

First week of September is HUGE:
-- 3 at Milwaukee
-- 3 at San Diego

I'd love to see Phillies fans respond to Turner tomorrow night at CBP the way they did after Bohm said "I fucking hate this place" last year ... Pick the guy up, who knows how it might help

Sad I missed Lorenzen's debut, had football practice. Can't wait to see the replay. Nice to see the replay of Realmuto's HR. Much like Bohm, when Realmuto stays inside the ball, he's a dangerous hitter.

A 3-1 road series win is a big time statement, even with yesterday's implosion.
