Giants have DFA'd Johan Camargo, who did at least receive his NL championship ring earlier in the series.

Thomson says Harper could return to 1B on Friday.

Here's the way I see it: Now that the Phillies KNOW that Harper can handle 1B, the most important thing is NOT to put him there every day. The most important thing is to keep him in physical shape so he can start every game in October at 1B. Because we cannot afford a single inning of Schwarber in LF in the postseason.

Postseason OF configurations, depending on opposing pitcher, will be

LF Cave, CF Marsh (with Rojas as defensive sub)
LF Marsh, CF Rojas

Cave has a .999 OPS in August, FYI (though that HR off the position player helped)

Sorry, folks.

Had a football match and forgot about the early start.

Thanks for picking me up.

Possibly the Phillies' offense forgot about the early start, too.

Perhaps that 124 pitch no-no has turned Mikey into a pumpkin. He looks very very hittable

They're going to need a plan for him, too, on top of everything else. As I said, he's probably Strahm 2.0
