Amazing that Bryce is now in the top 10 in OPS. Has raised it 100+ points in August

He and Trea not sucking have been the key

Chris - I read that Tyler Anderson was put on waivers earlier this month, but no one wanted that contract. If the Phils had signed him instead of Walker I had been ok with it

Grichuk is putting on a personal advertisement for himself tonight. He'll be somewhere else.

Always love to see them add-on especially after the Angels cut it to 3

I definitely wanted Anderson but I wanted TWO starters. Anderson would have replaced Bailey in my mind, and then we still would have needed a Walker type. Walker turned out to the be the best of the "Walker types" -- even Eovaldi has had his standard missed time.

(Phillies are 73-51 (.588) if you subtract Falter's 0-7.)

Such immense "bottle this team and take it to October" vibes right now.
Baseball is fickle. Can we stay red-hot & healthy and keep the pitchers from getting fatigued?

I'd like to see them move Lorenzen to the bullpen and just call up some junk from the minors to maintain the six-man rotation straight through September.

Stott has been amazing, but I think there's a tendency to lean too much into the idea that he's a "kid who's just arriving"

He's about a month away from turning 26. He SHOULD be thriving, and he is. Phillies control his next 4 years, which should be his peak years. Keeping him here after 2027, however, probably won't make financial sense. Paying for the past at that point.

Stott & Bohm are not superstars, but both are solid contributors and have worked out well as 1st round picks

I know that RBIs are not viewed as a stat, like it used to be, but I still look at it. Bohm should get 100+

Another 5 home runs. Can it be August forever?

My goodness, they are on fire.

It's both scary and awesome that this offense relies on the HR so much to score runs.

When it gets going it's literally shock and awe.
