Re: 2022 Eagles Offseason Discussion
With the Reddick signing, my dream draft would look something like:
15 Top CB available
16 Lloyd
19 Jameson WIlliams
Eagles trade up in the 2nd round and get Brisker, Cine or Pitre
3rd round Best DL on the board, edge or interior
4th traded to move up in the 2nd
After that I want the best Punter to be drafted and BPA on all other picks

Metcalf is going to cost a 1+Weapon X wrote: ↑Mon Mar 14, 2022 7:28 pmI think this is excellent thinking. It is interesting that Howie went after D first in FA. So I'm assuming Metcalf costs a 2 this year and maybe like a 4 next year? You still have your 3 firsts. Guess you can trade one for picks next year or pick up a new 2nd for the traded 2nd and get a J Brisker type SS/FS in the second?jrollin24 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 14, 2022 7:21 pm If Seattle doesn't pull off the Watson deal, I am getting Metcalf before spending on any of those options. Just don't feel any of those are the upgrade you need if you are truly committing resources to Hurts. Us being so close to trading for Ridley makes me think Howie knows that, too.

So there's two ways to look at it then if it's a 1...You don't have to use a 1 on a WR in the draft. This supposes Metcalf is better than Wilson, Williams, Burks, London, Olave. But the cost is more for Metcalf. But you can now concentrate on Defense in the draft. I doubt the Eagles were going to give up a 1 for Ridley. I like Ridley as much as Metcalf. But you could be right.FolesMVP09 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 14, 2022 8:46 pmMetcalf is going to cost a 1+Weapon X wrote: ↑Mon Mar 14, 2022 7:28 pmI think this is excellent thinking. Man, that's tough to say. Get the right deal, move him. Don't? Wait until someone gets hurt.
Re: 2022 Eagles Offseason Discussion
Eagles do not tender Singleton, so he is a Free Agent
Re: 2022 Eagles Offseason Discussion
It was just a question, while I like them both, Davis has the high ceiling so you go with that.
Re: 2022 Eagles Offseason Discussion
With the signing of Reddick we have spent 15 of our 20 cap. Are we going to see more reworked deals to open up cap for a SS/FS or WR? 5 million will not get it done!
