Draft 15-16-19

Keep all 3 picks and if the players are there (with the 2nd Round pick) draft 3 defensive starters and a WR

Sign WR and more defense in free agency

Move on from (to start)
Reagor
JJAW
Kerrigan
Barnett

Try to trade Cox

Cut Brooks.

Lot of guys coming off injury you can get a low risk/high reward type. Do your homework Eagles!

Not saying Im against it, but that is a 16M cap hit. They would probably try and spread it out over 3 years.

Can someone explain Brandon Graham's contract for me.

2022 $9.4M cap hit, but $26M deadcap hit
All the later years are all voidable

So if the Eagles void those years, do they still get hit with that huge deadcap number?

Barnett also has a voidable year next year and he is showing $7M dead cap money...that does not even make sense he is on the 5th year of his rookie contract

Grahams cap hit is all that you posted 26 Million.
.

It can be spread out over 2 years by cutting him after June 1st.

The 26 million dead cap would look like this if He's cut after June 1st :

2022 Dead Cap: $8,163,000
2023 Dead Cap: $18,311,000
2022 Cap Savings: $1,250,000

If He's released before June 1st it looks like this :

2022 Dead Cap: $26,474,000
2022 Cap Savings: $-17,061,000

Barnett originally signed a 4 year deal with the team with a 5th year option.

His 5th year option was restructured to let the team get some cap space for 2021. His cap hit for 2021 was half what it was for 2020.

Look at Barnett's 5th year salary, it's really low. Cap money was pushed out. He has voidable years ( which are bogus years ) look at the orange print years on his Contract, put the cursor over the orange and it will tell you which years were Void.

I would think about trading Sanders. He only has a year left on his contract. I like Sanders but he seems to get injured a lot.
