Not sure what the numbers are, but 2nd chance points had to have been ridiculous again and as per usual

Harris finishes a -17 on 3-17 shooting and 0-6 from three.

I think Toby is an outstanding human, so I really hope he gets healthy and gets his game back for the second halfawfulstack wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 2:53 am Harris finishes a -17 on 3-17 shooting and 0-6 from three.

It's about more than Simmons playing or not playing or him getting traded. This is a flawed seriously roster and Rivers is a horrible coach.
Imagine having Drummond and Embiid basically playing the same minutes in a 4th Q you're trailing. Imagine Embiid only plays 6:30 of the 4th Q when you're shorthanded.

As last year showed, the regular season really doesn't mean anything. I think we can all see that this team isn't going to the one we have heading into the playoffs. I trust Daryl to make the moves necessary not just for this year, but going forward. If we see another early playoff exit this year, then sure, roll some heads. I might be the only one in Philadelphia willing to do this, but I'm willing to remain patient.

Agreed. The team needs to make moves. Just don't "trade to make a trade" Might have to wait it out a bit.Buff wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 1:30 pm As last year showed, the regular season really doesn't mean anything. While I dont completely disagree, you can not just shit the entire regular season away either. At the very least, you want to be in the top 4 and at the very worst top 6 so you dont have to mess around with the play in game. Just about every player on this team is having head issues right now...wether it be hestitancy to shoot or not knowing how to play with others on the floor. And that is on the coaching staff IMO...Rivers needs to set the tone a get this shit back...but if we know anything about Rivers, it is that he is a Stubborn as Hell.Buff wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 1:30 pm As last year showed, the regular season really doesn't mean anything. It's not a top 4 roster.
It's not better than Milwaukee, Brooklyn, and Miami for sure even with a Ben trade.
Then argue about Bulls/Sixers/Cavs/Boston
The Cavs are legitimately good. Mobley + Allen + emergence of Garland have them playing well.
Sixers are last in the NBA in pace. Ben helps, but everyone else is so damn slow.
You keep saying they are hesitant. What they actually are is slow. Tobias/Curry/Korkmaz/Drummond/Niang/Shake are slow as molasses, so every possession is a slog. They can't get out on the break and run and get easy points. That puts immense pressure on Embiid + offensive scheme.
I hate Doc and he should be fired, but that won't fix the problems. When no one can get by anyone, you sit around hoping Embiid can draw double teams.
Trade Tobias even if you have to give up something. He isn't really helping you win anyway. He is not a top 3 player on a championship team, especially with the regression on D. Trade him, guys like Danny and Drummond out.
