Loss is squarely on JT and Castellanos. Their incompetence led to extra innings....
FO has to try and get rid of Castellanos in the offseason, even if means eat a lot of his salary. He's so fucking clueless.

Brad Hand isn't even going to be on their fucking playoff roster. He'll be watching from a couch in a few weeks.

Love the pivot from dump Schwarber to dump Castellanos, who has even less trade value. (Not by you specifically, just in general)

Poor hitting approaches and shitty relief pitching in the 10th. Didn't help to have HPU.not calling strikes that are clearly strikes.
Kimbrel had Rosario struck out on a 1-2 pitch.

In an ideal world, I think they have to get rid of them both, even if Schwarber has been hot the last 30 games or so. Regardless, one of them has to go in the offseason.Christopher wrote: ↑Wed Sep 13, 2023 2:13 amLove the pivot from dump Schwarber to dump Castellanos, who has even less trade value. Braves are relentless and take advantage of every mistake or break. They hit Wheeler hard and even when their bullpen falters, they keep coming.BelmontShore wrote: ↑Wed Sep 13, 2023 2:14 am Poor hitting approaches and shitty relief pitching in the 10th. Are you resigning Hoskins in this scenario? Because you'd be looking atwrench248 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 13, 2023 2:16 amIn an ideal world, I think they have to get rid of them both, even if Schwarber has been hot the last 30 games or so. C Realmuto
1B Hoskins
2B Stott
SS Turner
3B Bohm
LF Marsh + preferably a platoon guy
CF Rojas
RF Harper
DH free agent?
That just doesn't strike me as remotely enough offense. I think they need Schwarber next year; he's frustrating at times, but this offense becomes very very average without him

Matt Winkelman
@Matt_Winkelman
They are going to cost themselves home field or playoffs entirely to save Rodolfo Castro’s 2024 option year. Weston Wilson absolutely bats for Marsh there.
Keep Castro, I don't care. But, YES, find a freaking way to get get Wilson onto this bench now. May as well be for Cave.

Even though he is a butcher in the field, I see the Phillies resigning Hoskins. I don't see them leaving Harper at 1B.Christopher wrote: ↑Wed Sep 13, 2023 2:24 amAre you resigning Hoskins in this scenario? Castro hasn't played in a week and has only appeared in 5 games over the last month. I honestly forgot he was on the team.Christopher wrote: ↑Wed Sep 13, 2023 2:28 am Matt Winkelman
