Ranger is still struggling with his off speed pitches. They don't have that same bite and staying in the hitting zone.

Get the first two hitters on and 3,4,5 hitters can’t do a damn thing.

Phillies had their chances, but ultimately lose 6-2

1/9 with RISP. Ranger was also not particularly effective, needing over a 100 pitches to get through 5.

I agree Bel his breaking pitches aren't quite as effective. In addition, I think endurance is huge concern for him, as to my eye Ranger really looks winded by the 3rd.
