I'll be the first. I am legit nervous about this series. I do not have good vibes. Pitching will be there, but if this lineup can't get going, then we are screwed. Need to just get hits and not be a hero with a Homer every at bat. Not feeling this.

Mets in 5.

Given how the Phillies played over the last few months of the season, I think every Phillies fan should be nervous heading into this series. The Mets are hot and have played great ball since June.

Captain is absolutely right. The key to this series is the Phillies' hitters. If Schwarber, Turner, Harper, Castellanos, do what they did during the NLCS last year, it will be early playoff exit. If they can avoid playing hero ball and hold back on the big swings, they can win this series. Sadly, I see Wheeler, Sanchez, and Nola holding up their end of the bargain, but I am very skeptical the hitters will do the same. Given the layover and the Phillies propensity to chance pitches at a high rate, I think the Mets ultimately win the series as well, maybe even in 4 games instead of 5.

Hitters are chasing a lot of balls out of the zone.

The RHB

Castellanos
Turner
Bohm
Realmuto

Have to be a lot better.

Mets already decided Harper isn’t going to beat them.

Offense needs more runs period.

Can’t expect this pitching staff to hold the Mets scoreless
