And that is it from Wheeler. Seven shutout innings.

Maybe the offense will wake up

Hoffman has struggled recently. Can the bullpen hold in this game, as the offense doesn’t seem likely to do anything worth of note.

This game is fucked.

No shot we leave this inning with the Mets not up.

There is a confidence and an energy about the Mets that is unnerving. Even down 1-0, that dugout is buzzing, they are all on the top step.

I don't see it enough from the too cool for the room Phillies. They only become animated when it's going well.

41 comeback wins is fucking nuts.

Look at these swings to just put the ball in play.

They aren't swinging from their heels, they aren't swinging out of the zone.

The Mets have been the much better team since June. The Phillies early season success was clearly a mirage, primarily fueled by playing bad teams. The barely above .500 record for the Phillies since June is what they truly are; underachievers.

Phillies were leaking oil since June.

The lineup was horrendous and they needed something they than Austin Hays.

Now the seasons over.

Only hitters worth fearing on this offense are Schwarber and Harper. J.T. is passed his prime. Stott thinks he's a homerun hitter and consistently wants to elevate and pull the ball. And Marsh is a platoon player who thinks he is a power hitter. This exposes Rojas further. Add the POS that is Castellanos, this really isn't a hard lineup to neutralize if you have pitchers who have at least average breaking stuff.

Stott has now had 2 horrendous offensive years of his 3 full seasons.

I think questioning if he could be a starter should be on the table.

You can’t be a good hitter if you hit under .200 against fastballs.
