Probably too little, too late.

Add Bohm to the list of disappointments. He started the season hot and then reverted back to his average form in the second half.

Two strike swings.

What a notion.

Imagine that. Cutting down your swing to put the ball in play.

Mets have that "team of destiny" vibe going.

Phillies have to decide to have quality at bats or they're gonna get embarrassed and swept.

Not too shocked this how the game ended up going. The offense is total clusterfuck of incompetence. I'm sure we will hear plenty of excuses postgame, but I expect more of the same tomorrow.

All the pressure is now on Sanchez to pitch basically a perfect game. Expect to be down 2-0 going to New York on Monday.

Welp.. Must win tomorrow or that's pretty much it.

I mean. You can't win playoff games 1-0.

Unless you're playing the Phillies

Phillies have never won a series where they lost the first game (0-7). Great, just great.

And Bryce said post-game the needed to stop chasing pitches. No shit Sherlock, but I don’t expect players like Castellanos to take note

And next year. Too many undisciplined hitters on big contracts that are not going to change their way of playing. Dombrowski is going to have his hands full trying to remake this lineup.
One thing for sure is that the attitude of some of these players has to change. Need to be more team oriented. Less swinging for the fences and more contact hitting. Also be more professional-knock off the day care crap and bear down on playing for each other to make the individual sacrifices that create wins.

Never should have been in the home run derby. He’s not that type of hitter. Someone is trying to turn him into a slugger in order to justify hitting him in the four spot. He’s no Mike Schmidt. He a natural .300 hitter with alley power and 40 some doubles/20 HRs. Accept that and don’t mess with him.

The daycare thing doesn't bother anyone. However, the daycare should be broken up this offseason.
