Phillies lose 5-2.

Since Rojas was sent down, Marsh has not caught 2 batted ball that cost the Phillies 4 runs, 3 in this game, that cost them a chance to win the game. Rojas would have made those catches.

Marsh's bat has not produced anything that would make up for the runs allowed by his defense.

It was a mistake to send him down.

Defense matters.

Exactly! Some people in the Phillies organization seem to want to focus more on what Rojas can't do instead of what he does well. I'd venture that the pitchers don't care too much about his lack of power, inability to consistently pit down a bunt or not understanding the strike zone right now when he goes out in the field and hoovers in balls that save tuns, pitches and their games.
