Don’t feel great about it mostly because we don’t know which version of Aaron Nola we get.

He has two good starts vs the Braves this year to one bad one.

Offense needs to find ways to score without the long ball.

Their offense is what it is - not going to magically change. If they don't hit some HRs and get 6+ in game 3, going to be hard to win. Nola is too prone to the HR to not give up at least a few runs. - The offense is not going to fare well against Strider in game 4, so they really need to step up in game 3, Offense struggled with RISP for large parts of the year and now are 9 for 39 in the playoffs. Stott's grand slam gave them their one big inning

Playing Pache & Rojas gives them a bad bottom of the line-up. Rather just take my chances with Marsh

Being at home gives them a better chance, but other than 08, losing home games is what ended every playoff run in the CBP era. So home field can very quickly become meaningless.

2007 - lost 2 to CO
2009 - lost 2 of 3 to NYY
2010 lost 2 of 3 to SFG
2011 lost 2 of 3 to STL
2022 lost 2 of 3 Houston

Not saying this is a must win, but this is a must win.

Just hoping they can jump on the starter early keep the crowd up all game.

Braves get going first I fear theres no stopping them.

It is a must win, because I don't think that they win game 4, even if they win tonight

Tonight could be Nola's final start as a Phillie.

People in the media going overboard with overconfidence with the Phils being at home. Going to be tough tonight.

Agreed. It’s not a question of if Nola melts down, it is when. Phillies offense needs to score probably 6 or 7 to win and it will not be easy against Elder
